"Nuturing Youth Potential the Sussex Way"
Over the past 18 months Sussex Cricket in association with recreational cricket clubs, the SCCC professional department and Dr. James Wallis (Principal Lecturer of Sport and Service Management at University of Brighton) have been looking at how we “identify talent” and “how to nurture youth potential”. The headline information of both projects have been rolled out at Area Seminars and at the Annual Coaches Conference on 2014 & 2015.
With the summer fast approaching we would now like to offer your club the opportunity to have one of our Coaches come out to your Club either at a Junior training evening or just to meet all your coaches and/or parents to discuss both of the projects in more detail so that you have the opportunity to find out 1st hand what is involved.
If you would like to open the evening up to local coaches from other clubs and turn it into a opportunity to get money across the bar etc., then please feel free to do so.

Sussex County Cricket Club organises a comprehensive Player Development Programme through cricket coaching and cricket training to support talented players to develop their skills and to eventually become full time professionals. There is a clear Player Pathway for both boys and girls, which shows how a talented club player can further their game through being selected for Area, District or County Junior Cricket.
Pictured below is the Sussex Player Pathway, please contact your Cricket Development Manager for more information.
