ECB 'SAFE HANDS'
Within the county we take the welfare of our juniors, seniors, volunteers and coaches extremely seriously. The County has an appointed two County Welfare Officers whose jobs are to liaise with the development office on all welfare issues and to offer advice to anyone within cricket who needs it. If you would like to contact either of them for any reason their contact details are below:

Each club should have a trained Club Welfare Officer who has attended the necessary course provided by the SCB (Safe Hands Workshop).
In an ideal situation, each club should also have a Deputy Welfare Officer to take the place of the Welfare Officer should they be away.
It is a requirement for clubs with Clubmark accreditation and clubs with a league playing side and/or junior section to have a qualified Club Welfare Officer.
If you would like more information on available courses, please follow the link to our 'Welfare Officers' page.
If you have any further queries that you believe cannot be dealt with locally then please feel free to make contact with the ECB's Child Protection Team on 020 7432 1200 or email email@example.com
If your club requires any DBS forms (formally CRB) then please email firstname.lastname@example.org
