The Sussex Cricket in the Community programme forms part of the vision that unites both the professional and recreational games in Sussex, namely “inspiring a lifelong passion for cricket”.

It’s exciting times for cricket in Sussex – the last decade has seen the Sussex men’s and women’s teams achieve more success than any other county. We also now see more than 40,000 people regularly playing cricket across Sussex.

Our home in Hove has recently been redeveloped, offering excellent playing and spectator facilities, and last year more than 100,000 people came to watch cricket.

Sussex Cricket in the Community is all about making cricket accessible while using the power of sport to make a real difference to the people of Sussex.

Through the Sussex Cricket Board we have significant experience in delivering community participation programmes and are investing in the expansion of this hugely important area of our work under this new banner.
