Cricket World Cup Competition

As part of our Get Smart initiative SCITC are holding a new and exciting schools education project based around the 2015 ICC World Cup.
It is a competition based project, involving 14 of Sussex’s primary schools.


Sri Lanka Tour

Table Cricket

On Tuesday 16th December Sussex Cricket hosted a table cricket event in the Boundary Rooms at the County Ground in Hove.


Half Marathon

On December 5th we welcomed a very special visitor to Hove in the shape of Nigel Gordon-Johnson, who started and completed his sixth half-marathon in just 6 days at The BrightonandHoveJobs.com County Ground.


Christmas Donations

Blind Vets UK & Southern Rail Cricket Match

As part of Southern Rail’s commemoration of Armistice Day and the start of World War I, they linked up with Blind Veterans UK and Sussex Cricket to try out some blind cricket at our Indoor School in Hove.


Disability Tournament

On Wednesday the 29th October the K2 leisure centre in Crawley played host to a highly competitive disability competition between Sussex U16’s LD team, Hampshire’s U16’s disability squad and the Strawford Centre.


National Cricket Week in Brighton with Chance to Shine

The second day of Yorkshire Tea National Cricket Week started with us arriving at a very soggy looking Brighton train station, feeling decidedly nervous about whether beach cricket was a good idea! My mood wasn’t helped by my taxi driver looking at me incredulously when I told him that we were hosting a beach cricket on the seafront tournament today.


Boundaries for Life

As part of the Sussex Cricket in the Community initiative ‘Feel Good’ the club teamed up with ‘Boundaries for Life’ (a health promotion intervention), to launch a free match - day health check service for fans attending the LV County Championship game against Northamptonshire CCC.
