Become a professional

To be considered for either the 1st or 2nd XI teams of Sussex players must possess, or be entitled to, a European passport.

If you do qualify please send your cricketing CV to Mark Davis, Club Coach, Sussex CCC, The BrightonandHoveJobs.com County Ground, Eaton Road, Hove, Sussex BN3 3AN or via email mark.davis@sussexcricket.co.uk

There are trials each year to which those deemed up to the necessary standard will be invited.

For those who do not qualify as above please note that Counties can employ one overseas player.

To qualify as a potential overseas player it is now a pre-requisite that an individual has played at International Level for a country on a consistent basis before a Work Permit is issued.

If you wish to be an overseas player for a league club then it would be advisable to contact these clubs direct.
