In line with the mission of Sussex Cricket, the Sussex Cricket Board is looking “To lead and inspire the growth in the quality and quantity of cricket throughout Sussex, by providing opportunity for everyone”
Disability Programmes forms an integral part of that mission as we seek to ensure that everyone can easily take part in an enjoyable cricket experience.
In partnership with Chance to Shine - http://www.chancetoshine.org & The Lord Taverners Cricket for Change Hit the Top Programme - http://cricketforchange.org.uk we have been able to support the development of Disability Cricket across the County by supporting existing clubs disability sections, developing new projects, creating a adult disability indoor league as well as developing Junior LD, VI & HI Disability County Squads along with the very successful Sharks Senior VI Team.
There are now weekly sessions offered throughout the county for Street 20, Club Coaching and Table Cricket - further information on these are available from Roger.Newman@sussexcricket.co.uk
