It is great to be working by the seaside in such a vibrant and colourful city. And for businesses looking for somewhere to entertain and network, I’m pleased to report another excellent venue that ticks all the boxes.
If you haven’t been to Sussex County Cricket Ground recently you won’t recognise the place. The club has invested heavily in the facilities. There is a great new stand, new corporate hospitality suites, fabulous catering from 1839 and the team is flying high too.
We’re a bit spoilt at IEP. Our offices are just down the road and we find that mixing a working lunch with a bit of cricket is a great way to do business. While you do need watch out for the occasional low flying cricket ball, the service and food are well worth it!
We have long association with Sussex County Cricket Club due to the fact that many of us at IEP have always played cricket, we all love watching it and the networking opportunities at Hove are second to none. This year we also agreed a three year sponsorship deal with the club that we’re all really excited about.
Our links don’t stop there. Like Sussex we have made Rockinghorse our chosen charity for 2013. We had a terrific party in the club pavilion earlier this year to launch our new brand and used the opportunity to formalise our relationship with this much loved Sussex charity.
Finally, a word about the excellent new Chief Executive at Sussex, Zac Toumazi. Zac is right behind local businesses and doing everything he can to create a really welcoming environment that lets you talk business, at the same time as enjoying first class cricket and top quality hospitality.
Don’t take my word for it, pop along to the county ground soon and find out for yourself.
