Re: Worcester, 13-16 Sept Jolly

Just checked out the forecast for next week and it looks dry with sunshine and cloudy spells.

Had an e-mail back from WCCC re the parking and he is suggesting paying daily for the car park. The fee is £9 per day and he is chucking in the final day for free. They only take cash on the gate, if you need to pay by card then you need to go to the main entrance and shop.

My plan is to stop at the Cherwell Valley Services (MOTO) on the M40 by 8-00 for a brekkie, (20% off for AA members), then drive direct to the ground at New Road. It is 67 miles from the sevices to New Rd, so should be arriving about 9.30/10.00 at the latest.

See you there, safe trip all.

Stunning win against Middlesex today, and thanks to Surrey for helping out too.

Received text msg from a contact in India a few minutes ago.  He wants to know which of your players are more likely 'to help' a 'friend' of my contact with next weeks game against you.     big_smile

Very droll Searchers, might be the only way you could beat the Champions,  lol  lol

I see they are presenting the trophy at close of play on Wednesday, be handy if the game was wrapped up by then and the team and coaches fancied going out for a celebratory bevvy in the evening, might as well stay the Wednesday evening, don't panic chaps, Slid is not with us smile

Good news about the trophy, I'll let our forum know.  I seem to remember you winning a trophy last year at New Road.   smile

Re: Worcester, 13-16 Sept Jolly

Seems as if the weather forecast has altered a bit, may be a few showers about, so its either a bit more drinking or down Laddies with Xian.
