"Its" is indeed a misprint it should be "it's".

This scrap of 'wit' seems to be missing either punctuation or conjunction. Maybe it's a misprint. Maybe it isn't witty at all.

Spare a thought for TC. Four and half thousand miles and no kip. Ouch. If I were him, I'd be hitting the Angostura heavily.

The only thing more irritating than people in the crowd walking in front of the commentator is the constant whining of said commentator.  At least HB is out so no more drooling over him from them.

Did I hear the Leics commentator say that Sussex had made an approach about someone?

Rayner won't even be thought about (rightly). Joyce and RMJ.

You are asking for more as it's 5 from 5.

Horrible partisan commentary.

Very disappointing start to the season. Bottom of the table beckons.

Every time I click on the link from the homepage, I'm taken to the club cricket equipment and general clobber shop rather than the squad page.  Please could you fix this, thanks.

Great. I was going to finish my post with a smiley that exuded frustration, here-we-go-again, hands out wide and looking to the heavens but yet happy that they are nearly all out and supportive of the collective effort so far.

There wasn't one.

Seems as though the media watching/covering the game disagree with most of the contributors to the messageboard on the run out but then I suppose when Ollie is involved, it's eggshells with opinions. Just a statistic now regardless.

Good ol' booking fee again. If you buy a ticket at the ground and the ticket is placed immediately in your hand on exchange for cash, what exactly are you 'booking'?

'Anyhow I'm looking forward to it and trying to work out whether there is any clashing sport that will prevent me getting them to put it on in my London local'.

First day of the Premiership my friend. Morons from everywhere coming up for air. Chelsea v Hull (k.o. 12:45 but don't forget the build up). Sky sports centre then provides an inanity and repetition show from 3 until 5. Once that's over, straight into Everton v Arsenal (k.o. 5:30 but don't forget the build up).

Looks like you need another plan.

What post is this a response to? If it's been deleted, how can it be publicly argued against?

Anyway, I haven't read it but I did hear that booking fees are being charged per ticket not transaction even though purchased in person and I was astounded. Quite wrong in my opinion and somewhat indefensible if other outlets weren't charging this always mysterious 'administration' charge.

I suppose by that comment I also incur the not inconsiderable ire of Mr Dave Brooks but I couldn't give a hoot.

I think perhaps the whole issue should be between Mr Brooks and Seafret It isn't for general consumption on the messageboard unless of course a witch hunt is deemed appropriate. The administrator should delete the thread entirely and we can move on.

Can I also ask why have 2 separate commentaries on the game? Churchy and Leesey have shared it beofre. Ludicrous.

It is quite annoying as CQ says. Sussex could have won 3 on the bounce and been sitting pretty(ish). At least the team hasn't been hammered which is what was on the cards Wednesday night. Having said that, there are a few players who are lacking a bit in the batting department at the moment.
