Mind in the Tudors the other week the Earl of Surrey was a real scum bag and was hung drawn and quartered.

Steve..I think you will find the Earldom of Surrey belongs to a son of the Duke of Norfolk. The one executed was a harmless poet and was chopped the day before the syphilitic Tudor died.Of course the Tudors were the house of Lancaster (although Henry Tudor was Welsh) so we should get revenge on Friday. Earl of Surreys son became Duke of Norfolk and the Norfolks have been at Arundel Castle since they defended the Empress Maude against Stephen of Blois during that civil war in 11 something

your right, althouth its up to the duke what name he gives his son...

In a more benign financial climate, I suspect that Thornley at least would have been given at least another year.

i believe that they had a problem with his throwing. i remember him telling us (the group of fans) who where standing behind him while he was fielding. i even remember once robbo telling off for " standing behind the rope".

Goodwin didn't stop him, he just stoud their. Most of the members that was thier agreed. Yardy belived Goodwin ran him out even the players on the beach thought so

What a calamatous run out!

Goodwin ran yardy out, yardy shouted single (even I caould hear that from behind the Sussex bench) as it was his call hence why yardy was so pissed off with Goodwin, if sky showed much of it.

To me I think Goodwin needs to be replaced as vice-captin. No disrespect to him i think he is a grate player but maybe not a good captin I know a few fans might want to site me as un helpfull and it take 11 player's in a team but Sussex seam diferent mind set with out him. I think that Nash should take over as he is all ways talking to the players.

Well SLA the explanation for that is that Smith's block of ten days started before the tournament began!! We cant just chop and change. Its a fact.

I try again both smith and Arafat started the same day so if they play in blocks of 10 the mccullm played what first time last week when acording to you they have to be in block of ten days or more. Do the maths mate that is three oversea's player playing with in ten day…

So we can select 2 from 3 players as makes sense!

Gloucs off to a steady start. 66-1 off 9.Hopefully they don't get any more than 150. We have septh in the batting tonight.

No we can't.

We can pick players in 10 day blocks. Yasir's ten day block ended yesterday and he has been replaced by Smithy. When McCullum goes Yasir will replace him. Quite simple really but not any 2 from 3. McCullum could not have been replaced for this game by an overseas player.

the rule is that you can play 2 over sea's players it dosnt mater who they are or wich two,so if say mccullum has to go back to NZ then smith and Arafat can both play.

Think about it if players only play in ten day blocks then how come smith and Arafat both started at the same game then mccullum wount be aball to play intill today.

I must say i think that we need a new vice-captin don't get me wrong but Goodwin is a good player but maybe just not a good captin.his plan when in the placeing of his men when bowling is not the best, he had one of the two internasl wicket keepers standing on the rope???I mean isn't it the point if having your best player's where the cagh the ball.

Yardy is outstanding - we have so many players who can out think the opposition in T20.  Winning breeds confidence and winning the trophy last year and Yardy and Wright winning the world cup appears to have taken the players to a higher level even than last year.  Have some concerns about either Yasir or Dwayne having to make way for McCullum though.

Dwayne is to make way for McCullum as Dwayne isnt around for some of the 20/20 so McCullum is playing when smith cant. dont forget it was thout the smith would be playing with the weast indys....

All in all this is pretty poor.  Shows the importance of Wright at the top but when will he start showing the maturity that's required to go on.  Strange order, strange selections.  Where's Brown?

I was expecting at least one of Panesar or Beer, where are they?  I was thinking 200 at the start, maybe 160 now.  Robinson's selections continue to astonish me!

Hmmmm, the danger of slating all and sundry halfway through a match.....
