Why dont you have a bit more patience, aew?
I spend a lot of time and money on Sussex county cricket club, and love the Eaton road ground almost like no other place on the planet. The customer service from the Chief Executive in not answering my well intentioned questions is making me feel i'm not valued.
Time to answer: 10 minutes. Not difficult.
Bearing in mind the lack of cricket we have had in the last few weeks I would tend to agree with aew we should have had some answers.
aew if you could meet any one living or dead who would it be?
Camilla Parker-Bowles or Ann Widdecombe?
Who is the greatest Olympian - Sir Steve Redgrave, Michael Phelps, Carl Lewis, Jesse Owens or Usain Bolt ?

Sorry - took just about 12 hours to repsond but still well with in the 68 day tolerance.
Camilla Parker-Bowles or Ann Widdecombe?
I think Camilla would be quite good fun. Anne Widdecombe has something of the night about her.
Time to reply: Just under 12 hours.
Who is the greatest Olympian - Sir Steve Redgrave, Michael Phelps, Carl Lewis, Jesse Owens or Usain Bolt ?
Very interesting question. Thanks.
1 owens

7 lewis who only looked amazed when johnson beat him cos his cocktail was less effective
Time to reply: 20 minutes.
how many things have you done in your life which are actually illegal aew?
This appears on the SCCC News section :
Mark Ramprakash and Jonathan Batty then set out their stools to bat the rest of the day
you are a Surrey member - but do you also think Ramps and Batty are a pile of pooh ?
do you think politicians are naturally corrupt and incompetent, or does the job make them so, aew?

Blimey aew thats really spooky, because that would have been my answer as well!!!!
Dear Uncle aew
The pawnbrokers H&T have unveiled vastly improved profits. Is this due to an improved marketing policy or the recession ?
Having bought Mrs TD a silver coloured MG convertible for her birthday, loads of brownie points, should she have a silver or black hard top for the winter ?
Did you suffer any long term neck problems from your mid wicket chats with Tony Greig during your magnificent partnership against the Aussies in 1975 ?

I never inhaled sweaty but have frequently exceeded the speed limit on highways and byways and been approriately punished. I currently have 3 points on my driving licence. I have occasionally been drunk in a public place and remember watering the headmaster's garden at Brighton College in 1977. I stole an Aztec bar from a post office in about 1968 and did quite a bit of underage drinking. That's about it I think. On the one occasion I was arrested by the Met Police, it was wrongful although I did spend a night in Holborn nick as a result.
do you think politicians are naturally corrupt and incompetent, or does the job make them so, aew?
I think that politiocians give very generously of their time and on the whole work ridiculously hard. Its not a job I'd like to do at all. I think power has a striong tendenecy to corrupt.

Ramps is not a pile of anything. He is a flawed genius. Batty is a very nice bloke who is one of the most overrated undererated players on the county circuit.
would you have you know what with a man if he paid you £1m,aew?

Thanks for the multiple questions TD.
Pawnbrokers profits tend to increase in recessions and so I would imagine the H&T results are an indication that the economy is indeed heading for recession.
Your generosity knows no bounds Td. congratulations. I would think that matching MGs would look best in the Loco Shed.
I am sorry to disillusion you but I am using AEWParsons as a pseudonym for the purpose of disguising my real identity ( I am actually Jerry Groome)but I was there during that epic partnership and I think you may well be on to something. Austin's form went markedly downhill after that innings and this was perhaps due to a neck injury caused by looking up at the colossus Tony Greig
aew, what colour do Smurfs go when you strangle them?
will the right honourable gentleman (mr parsons) join with me in congratulating samras supermarket on their special offer on white lightning cider (8 cans for a fiver)? and does he agree that a large glug should be taken each time sussex take a wicket? does the right honourable gentleman have any suggestions on what to do with the cider if sussex dont take a wicket for 70 odd overs when ramprakash is batting?
I'm a broken man aew, i've always been convinced of your glorious past as you often post with a definite New Zealand accent.
If i were you i would tell everyone that i was the real AEW Parsons, especially when anywhere near a bar
would you have you know what with a man if he paid you £1m,aew?
No
aew, what colour do Smurfs go when you strangle them?
I've never seen a strangled Smurf and so have no idea I'm afraid, though I did see a group of men dressed as Smurfs presented with an award for Best Fancy Dress by Mike Gatting at the test match at Chester Le Street last year.
