Re: Messageboard Jolly
Poor old TC - he'll probably make it half way around the planet and you'll break down again between Gatwick and Northants!!!

You can walk next time you need a lift to Clayton, Big D
I said this messageboard was losing it's sense of humour....
TC,if you can take the risk of getting into the Sweatymobile (given that my last car blew up on the way to Birmingham at the last jolly) id be happy to pick you up from, say Gatwick train station, and give you a lift back there
A most fine and generous offer Sweaty, especially if you have small socks and Big D too. May need a minivan. Im sure if Gus was still in charge he would have laid on a coach or Grizz lent you the Porsche.
My plan (and you see I am planning and moving from possible to feasible as all accountants like a feasibility study) is to be in UK anyway the weekend before, possibly in London from Saturday.Unfortunately Somerset is a bridge too far (although I am sure Gus would have given me free tickets to the somerset game on saturday and let me go to Northants on the team coach). But I should be able to find my way to Northants from wherever I am (could do some visiting of family).
Going back its straight to the airport (hotel) to catch a flight next morning.
As a planned expedition advanced train fares are less than half price as I am sure all you Brits know.
Not sure if that means you need a lift or not! - the offers there anyhow, tc
Small socks wont be there otherwise Spearmint Rhino is a no go. ![]()

Good grief ..whats this about?
Sweaty it means I dont Know where I will be going from or when, but it wont be Gatwick airport when you are passing so a lift on the way is not possible.Going back also is unlikely because you will leave after the match (a 3 day win surely) and I wont need to be at Gatwick till Saturday morning. So it is unlikely that my complicated logistics will be fit into the sweaty mobile itinerary.
But thanks for the generous offer.
Please can I have a lift too upto Northampton in May Simon? Your new car looks a better bet than last years vintage model!

Thanks Simon.
Would just like to add my thanks to HC for organising this again. Well done big fella, looks like youve done us proud as usual.
Yep,
When are you requiring wedge HC?
Yeah, cheers Chris.
If we get anywhere near the numbers on the list so far, perhaps Sweaty could prepare one of his quizzes for the delectation of those of us unable to get to ones at Hove?
I thinks it a no for me as I'm due to away on business, which is a shame, hopefully that changes between now and then.
well ive just booked a mini -jolly - im going with ss junior for the glamorgan game staying 3 nights - the way i saw it was that there were other things to do with him if it was raining
im staying in the cardiff central travelodge if anyone fancies it
I'm up for Northampton
Your more than welcome to join us Chris, do you want to join our list and room with us or do you have other arrangements.
I'll adjust the numbers for the hotel booking if you wish to join us.
Well done Chris - all looks pretty good to me.
I will almost certainly drive to Northampton, travelling from the Croydon area. Am very happy to pick anyone up from around here or to travel down to Brighton/Hove to help with transport.
My car is only a Micra so I imagine two passengers at most. At least it will get there though!
Sweaty...I hope your car has a heated rear window so your passenegers can keep their hands warm while they're pushing it? ![]()

I'll join you if that's OK
despite relegation, this looks like being our best-attended jolly yet - welcome aboard, Stafford Chris
Dont fret Simon, you wont have to buy a round ![]()
phew!
