I'll contact Crowie's son Andrew at Northants and try and arrange the hospitality day for the Wednesday, day 2 of the game, see whats on offer and any charges .

If there are any problems with Northamptonshire CCC, let me know as I have contacts there. Ryan Cummins  (now retired due to injury) and Rob White are members of my club. In fact I was talking to Rob's missus (Ryan's sister) on Saturday night at our club Dinner & Dance.

Bear in mind I will be in China from 19th-April -12th May.  I wonder if they play cricket in China?  OK all you wags, I expect it is affectionately known as Clicket!

I will ring someone when I get back to confirm arrangements - I'm really looking forward to this trip so let's hope the weather holds for us.

Then easily identifiable TC. As it happens I exchanged congratulatory words with Pollard in a Mumbai lift after he had performed particularly well for the Mumbai Indian the other day. My goodness he is a large guy and some cricketer. You Trinidadians must be proud of him.

Hi Woodie, I'm picking Leigh and Slid up about 6.45 in Brighton, going to hit the traffic on the M25 at that time so aim to hopefully be at the hotel about 9.30/10.00.

I saw the Paperboy in Barbados and he will be two days late and exhausted coming overnight to gatwick and arriving Thursday.
