Re: Indian Premier League

Sh*t - good point! Can't have that.

Re: Indian Premier League

Ha Ha!!

I was happy enough with the Deccan suggestion as Big Dwayne plays for them until AEW pointed that out, are we now Delhi Daredevils fans then?!

If so our adopted team plays this afternoon against the Pantshire Rajasthan Royals @ 2.30pm.
RR 6/4 and DD favs at 8/15 with our boy Dilshan 7/2 to be top Delhi runscorer!

Come on the Daredevils, the adopted team of the Sussex messageboard??  big_smile

Edit/afterthought - Sussex Sharks = SS, Delhi Daredevils = DD...  wink

Re: Indian Premier League

Delhi it is, then.

Come on the boys! What a game today, against the evil lowlifes of Rajasthan. My money's on a return to form for Sehwag and Dilshan, plus another fine contribution from Dirk. We stuffed those Kings XI boys, didn't we! Eat your heart out Piyush! Yuvraj who? Jayawardene Shjayawardene!!

Erm, this isn't really working. Where's my wallet...

Re: Indian Premier League

I'm not a betting man, but I thought  the smart money this week was on Kauto Star. Or is it Denman  hmm

Re: Indian Premier League

Kauto for me, no value though...  sad

Re: Indian Premier League

Kauto for me as well, unless the going is good-soft/soft. Then you've got to look at Denman.

Re: Indian Premier League

Having just been looking up on our adopted IPL team the Delhi Daredevils I have noticed that they like our good selves are also a little bit weak in the bowling department!!

The batting line up of Dilshan, Sehwag, Gambhir, De Villiers and D Warner ain't too bad though!

Re: Indian Premier League

Well, I was going to support Chennai (MS Dhoni possibly having something to do with it  big_smile ) but they were so rubbish yesterday I think I'll join the messageboarders in going with Delhi.

Especially want to see them thump Mr Warne today.

I often enjoy watching cricket more when I'm neutral - especially if top players are playing.

Re: Indian Premier League

Good stuff Alicatt, we're creating a bit of a following now!! Me, you and Ardcarran I think!

One hour til kick off!  big_smile

Re: Indian Premier League

Interesting character, Nannes. A very serious skier who has hardly played much cricket at all - 33 years old and 23 first class games. According to cricinfo, he also plays saxophone and speaks Japanese.

Re: Indian Premier League

Not the greatest first over but you've got to back us to chase down a big score.

Had a score on Dilshan just incase my interest fades, nice to watch a bit of cricket at work though...  big_smile

Oh, just realised there's a 5 min delay on youtube, Dirk strikes with Dilshan taking a smart catch in the gully....

Re: Indian Premier League

All very false.

Particularily the imported blonde cheerleaders. Couldnt they get Indian girls or is that beneath their dignity. At least our almost clad Digicel girls are local

Probably have white waiters as well t emphasise the racial superiority of the rupee

Re: Indian Premier League

Come on, TC, you have to ride above all that and get into the spirit  wink

Mishra strikes! And now Pathan, the dangerman, is out!!

Re: Indian Premier League

Abhishek Jhunjhunwala well and truly shackled

Re: Indian Premier League

Better off not getting another wicket..........these two are holding up the run rate perfectly.
A new batsman might put on a quick 30 odd

Re: Indian Premier League

Having a bit of a thrash. Not too sad to see Masc depart for 3 - not my fave cricketer.
