Re: Sussex v Leicestershire LVCC2 Hove 27 April - 30 April

shrouded in mystery Observer - I'd go for teh winning team v Glos (assuming all fit) and like jonboys RMJ before Hodd order.

Interesting listening to the Muzz interview - he's really relishing taking on the captaincy, and obviously his many years experience out in the middle give him extra insight - his idea that Anyon may blunt the Glos seam bowling attack for example really paid off.

welcome back LL - volcanic ash problems ?

We've won the toss and elected to field.
Does anyone have the link to Bruce Talbot's live blog?

Yes, although they had stopped when we were due to fly, but we got shunted to make room for others who had been delayed.

Amazing that two weeks in April meant 3 CC matches!!

Thanks for weather details, DFL. Keep us posted of any changes!

Putting them in on a sunny day? Blimey, that's brave

Re: Sussex v Leicestershire LVCC2 Hove 27 April - 30 April

Best days forecast... days one and two...  shouldn't we have batted?

And blimey, they're pasting us around the ground.

Worried and bemused!

Only half an hour gone and Jefferson has hit six boundaries...not just brave but looking dubious already

Re: Sussex v Leicestershire LVCC2 Hove 27 April - 30 April

Rana Strikes! The big man gone for what will now be described as a breezy 27

Re: Sussex v Leicestershire LVCC2 Hove 27 April - 30 April

Shame i have to work would love to be there. hopefully tomorrow. 3 down at lunch would be a good mornings work.

Re: Sussex v Leicestershire LVCC2 Hove 27 April - 30 April

44 for 2, looking good already.

Re: Sussex v Leicestershire LVCC2 Hove 27 April - 30 April

6 no balls in 12 overs looks a bit careless to me

Its 4 no balls and 8 runs, but it has been a problem for Rana and also cost him one wicket

Re: Sussex v Leicestershire LVCC2 Hove 27 April - 30 April

Has Mr Lees stepped on a cable? It's gone very quiet... Although there appears to have been a problem with the BBC website, I have had no problems getting Hand at Lords, so I'm guessing the problem is at the County Gound. Someone please wake him up.

Re: Sussex v Leicestershire LVCC2 Hove 27 April - 30 April

What a fantastic start!

Goodwin's decision to put Leicestershire in is a resounding good one. RMJ after 3 overs was 1 wicket for 0 runs. Let his resurgence continue.

Not sure who's left in the batting order that could be deemed 'dangerous'.

There it is - the fifth wicket and Jimmy's second. 67-5. Blimey, Leicestershire could be all out before tea!!

Sorry, I'll edit that as the 6th goes down... before lunch!  wink

"Now the stumps have asked for pads!"
(Aussie radio commentator Kerry O'Keeffe as Rahul Dravid, bowled six times in seven innings during the present series, walks out to bat at the Adelaide Oval)

Re: Sussex v Leicestershire LVCC2 Hove 27 April - 30 April

Gordon Bennett. Great start. Is pitch misbehaving or just good bowling/poor batting?

Just a little worried when it's our turn!
