Aggers is very critical of all the money being spent by the Test grounds. As he says on TMS, the main 'Hollies Stand' is not even half full today; usually it's heaving during a Test match. Like Yorkshire, due to the bidding process, Warwickshire will lose a lot of money on this Test, especially if it lasts barely 3 days. Sadly, another financial disaster which only increases the overall cricket debt.
And who is to blame but the ECB. They must ditch this bidding process immediately and only use it for the 'Ashes' series. By continuing to implement it, the Test grounds will just lose even more money.
