The 1st Central County Ground’s Legends Lane celebrates some of the great players to have worn the Sussex shirt over the years. The Lane is currently graced by banners bearing images of such legends as Greig, Fry, Prior, Snow, Ahmed, Goodwin, Khan, Yardy and Robinson, but there’s still room for more legends to join this elite group.

We want to know which other Sussex icons our fans think deserve a place on the Lane, so whether you were lucky enough to watch them first-hand or have simply read about their achievements, get in touch and let us know your choices on Twitter, Facebook and Google+ using the tag #SussexLegends.

You can choose from any player in our history, whether recent, such as Richard Montgomerie, who hit exactly 1,000 runs to help Sussex lift the 2007 County Championship, or from earlier in Sussex’s history, such as Tommy Cook who played more than 460 games for the Club between 1922 and 1937, scoring more than 20,000 runs.
