2ND XI: Run chase for Sussex on Day Three at Arundel


Sussex’s Second Eleven were hoping for victory on Day Three of their Championship match against Kent at Arundel today.

Kent were all out for 330 yesterday which set Sussex a final day target of 306 to win. They ended the day on 65 for 2.

With the wickets shared around again for the Sussex attack, it was Kent skipper Sam Northeast who took the plaudits, hitting 109 before he was caught by Kirk Wernars off the bowling of Will Adkin.

At 12pm Sussex had advanced to 109 for 3, still requiring 197 runs to win.
