BEER FESTIVAL: Back for 2013!25-Apr-2013
Sussex are delighted to announce that their Beer Festival will be returning again this season with in excess of 20 ales on offer, including a wide selection from around the County.
Beers from Greene King, WJ King, Hepworth, Arundel and Dark Star breweries will be available at The BrightonandHoveJobs.com County Ground for three fixtures at Hove. It was held last year during the visit of the West Indies and the event was a great success.
Sussex will entertain the reigning County Champions Warwickshire between Wednesday 1st and Saturday 4th May and tickets to this match, which are available now, will all have the added bonus of entry to the Beer Festival at the Cromwell Road End of the ground. Play begins at 11.00am each day.
The Festival will also be running during the opening Yorkshire Bank 40 match against Worcestershire Royals on Sunday 5th May, although this match is already sold out, and it is only members who can gain entry to the ground on the day without a match ticket.
But there will be another chance to sample the ale over the Bank Holiday Weekend as Sussex’s Women take on rivals Surrey at Hove on Monday 6th May and the match is free entry to all, as well as the Beer Festival (11.00am start).
