BOUNDARY ROOMS: To be sponsored by The Montefiore Hospital13-Feb-2013
Sussex County Cricket Club have announced that The Montefiore Hospital is the new sponsor of the Boundary Rooms
The Boundary Rooms, which are situated in the south-east corner of The BrightonandHoveJobs.com County Ground, are a focal point for both match day and non-match day activity at the Club, and will now be known as The Montefiore Hospital Boundary Rooms.
Speaking of the decision to become involved with the club, Andy Wood, the Montefiore Hospital’s Director, said: “We are in the business of looking after people, but we believe this should extend beyond the hospital and out into the community. Sussex County Cricket Club is on our doorstep and part of the local community which we are very proud to be part of.
“The club does a great deal to promote a healthy and active lifestyle which is something that the Montefiore Hospital, as a healthcare provider, wholeheartedly endorses.
“We hope that our support of the club will help to encourage more people to come and watch the matches and in turn, be inspired to have a go themselves.”
Zac Toumazi, Chief Executive of Sussex Cricket, said, “The Montefiore Hospital is a fantastic asset to the local area in Hove and we are delighted to welcome them to the Sussex Family.
“The Boundary Rooms are a really important facility not only during the season but 365 days a year, with our 1839 Hospitality & Events team using this modern structure throughout the winter months as well.
“The deal we have struck with the hospital gives us access to some of the most state-of-the-art equipment available for the Club and our players so we hope this is the beginning of another long term relationship for both parties.”
