There have been reports circulating locally that some of our hospitality clients in the Boundary Rooms fell ill after attending last Friday’s Friends Life t20 match versus Middlesex Panthers at The PROBIZ County Ground, Hove.
The club has been made aware of these instances and have called each customer to check on their guests well-being, and we are also working with the local Environmental Health Officers (EHO) to confirm the cause and its origin.
The Club are confident that this is an isolated incident caused by a specific food ingredient. The EHO have endorsed our processes, procedures and our 5-Star hygiene rating all of which are to the highest standards. Our Boundary Rooms were again full for Sunday’s game against Essex Eagles and we have had no reported incidents from any of these guests.
Whilst the incident is very unfortunate, we have fed thousands of guests in the last three years with no issues at all.
Should you have any specific concerns, please feel free to call the Club and talk to our Catering team.
