CT20: Travel Places and Watson Associates to sponsor Sussex in the Caribbean06-Jan-2012
Sussex County Cricket Club are delighted to announce the support by local companies Travel Places and Watson Associates as the team fly out to take part in the Caribbean T20.
06th January 2012
Following the earlier announcement of Afinis becoming Sussex’s main sponsors for the trip, both Travel Places and Watson Associates have joined as sponsors as the Sharks look to begin 2012 in style.
Travel Places, who specialise in providing travel solutions for major sporting events around the world and are based locally in Worthing, will be sponsoring the back of the Sharks’ shirts in Antigua and Barbados.
Watson Associates, the Registered Auditors, Accountants and Business Advisers have had a presence in East Sussex for over 50 years and currently have offices in both Brighton and Hailsham. They will be sponsoring the cap that the Sharks will be wearing during the tournament.
Speaking today, Dave Brooks, Chief Executive of Sussex CCC said, “The Club would like to thank both Travel Places and Watson Associates for the financial support offered in challenging economic times. Their involvement makes this trip possible for Sussex, as our young team look to gain valuable experience playing Twenty20 cricket in an alien environment, and in alien conditions, though in a competitive format”.
Sussex’s squad fly out this weekend ahead of their opening match on Tuesday when they face the Netherlands at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua.
