06-Sep-2012
Sussex County Cricket Club have confirmed that Andrew Hodd has joined Yorkshire permanently following his loan deal which began last month.
The 28 year-old Sussex born wicketkeeper made his first-class debut for the County in 2003 and following the two LV=County Championship matches that he has played for Yorkshire, as well as the current game with Glamorgan, the Second Division promotion chasers have moved to sign Hodd on a two-year contract.
Sussex’s Professional Cricket Manager Mark Robinson said, “Everybody at Sussex is absolutely delighted that Andrew has secured a two-year contract at Yorkshire.
“Andrew is a special person who has always given 100% on and off the pitch and we wish him all the success for the next stage of his career".
