LAST CHANCE: House of Lords Luncheon26-Aug-2014
The Sussex Cricket Museum & Educational Trust is pleased to be hosting a very special fundraising luncheon in the House of Lords on 22nd October 2014, kindly sponsored by Baroness Massey of Darwen. She is a Vice-Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Cricket Group. We are absolutely delighted that the former Prime Minister, Sir John Major has agreed to speak to us. Sir John is among many things, a very knowledgeable cricket historian and enthusiast. His book ‘More Than a Game’ is regarded as an authoritative overview of the early days of cricket. Our MC will be the incomparable Johnny Barclay, the former Sussex Captain and raconteur. The Cholmondeley Room is located alongside the Terrace of the House of Lords and is a thoroughly world class venue within one of the most iconic buildings in the world.
To book your place at this lunch please complete the below and send your cheque, please e-mail Richard Barrow (firstname.lastname@example.org). The cost for Friends and Patrons of the Sussex Cricket Museum is £99 per person. All others £119.
