MUSEUM: Two new Sussex Cricket Museum booklets published

Two new souvenir booklets have recently been published by the Sussex Cricket Museum.

Hubert Doggart was so pleased with the booklet the Museum published for his 90th birthday that he asked them to publish a booklet of his verses. The Museum agreed with Hubert taking 150 of the 200 published, and the Museum is selling the remaining 50, numbered 1 to 50, and signed by Hubert. Each copy is priced at £20 each (plus £1.50 for postage). Six of the poems in the 57 pages relate to cricket.

Mark Robinson recently left Sussex to take charge of the England Women’s team. The Museum has published a booklet of 41 pages – ‘Mark Robinson – An Appreciation’. There are articles by Richard Barrow, David Bowden, Tony Cottey, Jon Filby, Kate Green, Jim May, Peter Moores, Ed Putnam and Mike Yardy, and the booklet is edited by Jon Filby & Nicholas Sharp.

The booklet contains 12 pages of photographs with an additional two to the covers. It is signed by Mark Robinson, Mike Yardy and Tony Cottey and is in a numbered limited edition of 150. Each copy is priced at £15 (plus £1.50 postage).

The booklets are available from the Museum itself at Hove or in writing to Nicholas Sharp, Sussex Cricket Museum, The 1st Central County Ground, Hove, East Sussex, BN3 3AN.

As with all Sussex Cricket Museum publications, after the printing costs, all profits go to the Museum.
