PREVIEW: Sharks aiming for three out of three in the week

Sussex Sharks go on the hunt for their third Royal London One-Day Cup win in four days, as they welcome Middlesex Panthers to The County Ground today (2.00pm start).

After the thrilling win over Durham at Hove on Tuesday, the Sharks followed it up with an impressive 36-run victory over Surrey at the Kia Oval the very next day. Luke Wright, Ed Joyce and Craig Cachopa all struck half-centuries whilst Lewis Hatchett and Chris Liddle (pictured) both claimed three wickets apiece as Sussex revived their 50-over campaign.

They now lie only three points shy of the top of the Group B table and Sussex have a strong record against Middlesex in this format, as they aim for their tenth straight victory over the Panthers at Hove in List A cricket.

However, the visitors can offer a star-studded line-up which includes England's Eoin Morgan, Australia's Chris Rogers and explosive one-day hitters Dawid Malan and Paul Stirling, which promises to make a mouthwatering game under the lights this evening.

The squad remains unchanged with James Anyon, Rory Hamilton-Brown, Jon Lewis, Matt Prior and Michael Yardy all unavailable due to injury, whilst Chris Jordan is playing for England against India at Old Trafford.

The Sussex squad is as follows:

WAT Beer
BC Brown (wkt)
C Cachopa
LJ Hatchett
EC Joyce (capt)
CJ Liddle
MW Machan
CD Nash
SA Piolet
LWP Wells
LJ Wright
SAA Zaidi
Yasir Arafat
