PREVIEW: Sharks back at Hove as Bears visit in Yorkshire Bank 4030-May-2013
Sussex Sharks are aiming to keep up the pressure at the top of Group A of the Yorkshire Bank 40 competition, as they entertain Warwickshire Bears tonight, in a televised floodlit affair at The BrightonandHoveJobs.com County Ground, Hove (4.40pm start).
The Sharks are four points shy of the summit in Group A with a game in hand after their victory over Kent Spitfires at the Horsham Sports Club on Sunday.
After amassing 222 for 9 from their 40 overs, a tight bowling performance managed to restrict their neighbours to 202 all out to claim a second win of the season in the 40-over format.
The hosts can welcome back skipper Ed Joyce to the squad after he represented Ireland in the ODI Series with Pakistan, with him hitting an unbeaten century in the second match on Sunday. Will Beer and Lewis Hatchett are also added to boost the spin and seam bowling options respectively.
Warwickshire were finalists in the competition last season but are yet to get off the mark so far this term.
Tickets are still available for the clash, priced at £20 for Adults and £5 for Juniors. Call 0844 264 0206 for more details.
The Sussex squad is as follows:

EC Joyce (capt)
