PREVIEW: Sharks back in Friends Life t20 action at Ageas Bowl

Sussex Sharks return to Friends Life t20 action this evening when they travel to take on Hampshire Royals at the Ageas Bowl (7.00pm start), in the return leg of last Friday’s fixture at Hove.

The Sharks are lying three points shy of their South Coast neighbours in the South Group table as they enter a busy period of three t20 games in five days, with a trip to Essex Eagles and a home game against Middlesex Panthers to follow which represents a chance to climb the table swiftly.

Overseas star Scott Styris (pictured) is currently Sussex’s leading run-scorer in the campaign as it stands whilst Chris Jordan has claimed the most victims. Dwayne Smith has scored the most maximums so far for the Sharks.

Lewis Hatchett misses out tonight through injury so James Anyon comes into the squad to boost the seam bowling options.

The Sussex squad is as follows:

JE Anyon
WAT Beer
BC Brown (wkt)
JS Gatting
RJ Hamilton-Brown
CJ Jordan
EC Joyce
CJ Liddle
MW Machan
CD Nash
DR Smith
SB Styris
LJ Wright
MH Yardy
