PREVIEW: Sharks head to Canterbury for latest One-Day Cup encounter


Will Beer on his way to 42 against Notts Outlaws on Thursday at Hove

Sussex Sharks head to Canterbury on Sunday to continue their Royal London One-Day Cup campaign, where they face Kent Spitfires (10.30am start).

The Sharks are aiming to get off and running in Group B with two more 50-over games in quick succession in addition to tomorrow's clash, with Middlesex travelling to Hove on Monday, and then Sussex heading to Swansea to take on Glamorgan on Wednesday.

Paceman Matt Hobden is welcomed back to the squad after injury but Ollie Robinson will face a fitness test after missing Thursday's game with Notts Outlaws with a hamstring problem.

Ashar Zaidi also misses out through injury as do Jimmy Anyon, Lewis Hatchett, Chris Jordan and Ajmal Shahzad.
