PREVIEW: Sharks head to neighbours Kent in YB4018-Jun-2013
Sussex Sharks continue their Yorkshire Bank 40 campaign on Wednesday when they travel to Canterbury, to take on the Kent Spitfires in a floodlit affair (4.40pm start).
The Sharks currently have six points in the Group A table and are two points shy of the Spitfires in the standings. It is a busy week of YB40 action for Sussex as they also travel to take on the Nottinghamshire Outlaws, leaders of the group, on Friday evening at Trent Bridge.
Friday’s match will be the final 40-over encounter for the Sharks until after the Friends Life t20 tournament so they will be eager to get some points in the bag this week before the competition takes a break.
Sussex can welcome back Joe Gatting to the squad whilst as announced earlier, Amjad Khan is currently out with a wrist injury.
The Sussex squad is as follows:
BC Brown (wkt)
EC Joyce (capt)
