PREVIEW: Sussex head to Headingley for final Championship tussle

Sussex play their final LV=County Championship match of the 2015 campaign this week, as they head to Headingley to take on champions Yorkshire from tomorrow (10.30am start).

In last week’s penultimate encounter, Sussex drew with Somerset at The County Ground, taking 11 points from the match and they will be aiming to preserve their Division One status this week.

Michael Yardy struck an emotional hundred on his final appearance at Hove as Sussex gained maximum batting bonus points, and he remains in the squad for this week’s clash for what is set to be his final game for Sussex.

Ollie Robinson misses out against his former county with the sore shins that also kept him out of the Somerset match, whilst fellow seamers Jimmy Anyon and Ajmal Shahzad also remain sidelined, so Matt Hobden boosts the bowling options.

The Sussex squad is as follows:

BC Brown (wkt)
LJ Hatchett
ME Hobden
CJ Jordan
EC Joyce (c)
CJ Liddle
MW Machan
SJ Magoffin
CD Nash
LWP Wells
LJ Wright
MH Yardy
SAA Zaidi
