AUSTRALIA: Sussex name squad for Australia Tour Match

Sussex have named their squad for the Tour Match against Australia which begins at The County Ground, Hove tomorrow (11.00am start).

The first two days of the match are completely sold out, and it is also hoped that the third day of the game will be close to a full-house.

The hosts, at the request of the ECB, have agreed to field James Taylor (pictured today at Hove) in the squad as he bids for a place in the England Test side ahead of the Third Ashes Test at Emirates Old Trafford.

Chris Nash will captain the side however Sussex do have some injury problems with Ben Brown out with a broken finger, Luke Wright ruled out with a knee injury, and Amjad Khan and Matthew Hobden are out for the season with wrist and shin injuries respectively.

Both James Anyon and Lewis Hatchett have late fitness tests so Chris Liddle and Andy Miller boost the bowling options.

The Sussex squad is as follows:

JE Anyon
RJ Hamilton-Brown
LJ Hatchett
CF Jackson (wkt)
CJ Jordan
CJ Liddle
MW Machan
AS Miller
CD Nash (capt)
MS Panesar
JWA Taylor
LWP Wells
MH Yardy

BBC Sussex will be providing full ball-by-ball commentary of the match and you can access the feed by clicking HERE
