PREVIEW: 'The Only Way is Essex' as Sharks take on Eagles

Yasir Arafat returns to the squad after a groin problem had sidelined him recently

Sussex Sharks complete their NatWest T20 Blast campaign this evening, when they travel to Chelmsford to take on Essex Eagles (5.30pm start).

The Sharks are now unable to qualify for the quarter-finals of this season's campaign but will be looking to finish on a high ahead of the new Royal London One-Day Cup competition, which begins on Sunday.

With victory this evening, Sussex could secure a fifth-place finish in the South Group table, but the table-topping Eagles will represent a stiff test on their home turf.

Luke Wright is Sussex's leading run-scorer in the competition, and is 52 runs shy of the 500-mark. Steffan Piolet is one scalp ahead of Yasir Arafat in the leading wicket-takers.

The Sharks have named a young squad for tonight's clash, with seamer Matthew Hobden in the frame to make his T20 debut if selected, and Arafat makes his return from a groin injury.

The Sussex squad is as follows:

WAT Beer
BC Brown
C Cachopa
HZ Finch
LJ Hatchett
ME Hobden
CF Jackson
MW Machan
CD Nash (capt)
SA Piolet
LJ Wright
Yasir Arafat
