SCCC BOARD: Sussex elect new Vice-Chairman18-Apr-2013
Sussex County Cricket Club can announce that Jon Filby has been elected as Vice-Chairman of the Board this week, after Richard Barrow stepped down following six years in the role.
Richard will continue at the Club in his role as Chairman of Sussex Cricket World, part of the Sussex Cricket Museum and Educational Trust.
Re-elected for further terms in their role were Chairman Jim May and Honorary Treasurer Simon Crundwell. Jim is currently also Chairman of Shoreham Port Authority whilst Simon is a Regional Director of RBS Corporate Banking.
Jon, a Management Consultant and a member of the current Board, said, “It is an honour and a privilege to be able to serve the members of Sussex County Cricket Club in the role of Vice-Chairman. I have supported Sussex since I was a boy and I look forward to the exciting challenge ahead”.
Jim May said, “After an impressive start to the season last week we’re very much looking forward to a successful season both on and off the pitch”.
