STUMPS: Even again as Sussex close in on Notts

It was even again at Hove on the end of Day Two as Sussex finished the day 66 runs behind Nottinghamshire in their LV=County Championship Division One clash.

With the visitors all out for 356, Sussex made 290 for 6 by the time the close of play arrived on another beautiful day at The County Ground.

Both Luke Wells and skipper Ed Joyce made 59 whilst Michael Yardy (46) also looked at home amongst the runs against a strong Nottinghamshire attack, who ensured that with two days still to play, all three results remain possible.

A late flurry which saw Ben Brown and Chris Jordan, who had earlier finished the day with six wickets for Sussex, put on an unbeaten 41 which sets a fascinating scene when play resumes at 11.00am tomorrow.
