Sussex CCC send their best wishes to former Captain Tony Greig, who has been diagnosed with a form of lung cancer and faces surgery this week.

Greig, who captained the County between 1973 and 1977, and played 58 times for England in Test matches, currently works as a television commentator and was initially diagnosed with bronchitis in May.

He was back in Sussex in July when he visited The PROBIZ County Ground and Ditchling CC as a former Sussex Young Cricketers XI took on the side in aid of the Sussex Cricket in the Community Trust.

Everyone at Sussex sends their best wishes to Tony in his battle against cancer.
