MATCH DRAWN - Ed Joyce shook hands with his opposite number at 5pm today after a day of mixed fortunes for the home side.

Loughborough resumed on 59-3 but soon lost wickets in quick succession, with 5 Sussex bowlers (Magoffin, Anyon, Liddle, Jordan and Nash) picking up a pair each to end the Loughborough innings on 155 with Gavin Baker top scoring with 44 before becoming Nash's first victim.

Sussex's top order batsmen had a second chance for runs, but after a solid start Wells fell for 8 with the score on 31 giving an opportunity for Yardy to join the already free-flowing Nash.  Sadly he edged a delivery from the impressive Soilleux to keeper Mathew Cross without scoring.  Ed Joyce 29 not out and Nash 60 not out saw Sussex out to the end of play without further loss.

Sussex now look forward to the start of the LV= County Championship Division 1 with a visit to Headingley which starts on Wednesday 10th April at 11am.  You can follow all the action via our Facebook and Twitter feeds plus online ball-by-ball coverage from BBC Radio Sussex.

Ed Joyce shakes hands at hands with Devon Endersby, Jack Cornick and Anish Patel at 5pm today.
