VI CRICKET: Sharks help England to regain the Ashes in Adelaide


Sussex's Dan Field was named Man of the Match in the 5th ODI

England’s VI Cricket Team have been in instrumental form down under, as they regained the Ashes in The Lord’s Taverners International Blind Cricket series in Adelaide this week.

In a series consisting of five ODI matches and three T20s, England currently have a 4-1 lead over their Australian counterparts. Sussex have no less than three representatives in the squad, with Dan Field, James Millard and Si Ledwith all amongst the squad.

England’s latest success came on Friday when they wrapped up the series with a 51-run victory at Park 25 in Adelaide.

Sussex’s Field was named Man of the Match for his unbeaten 58, two stumpings with the gloves, and also a special mention for his sportsmanship on the field throughout the match.

England now have two T20 matches remaining this weekend to complete the full series.

4th ODI - Australia won by 42 runs
