WOMENS: Sussex to take on Berkshire at The PROBIZ on Sunday

The Sussex Women are set to play their final County Championship match on Sunday against Berkshire at The PROBIZ County Ground (11.00am start) as the competition reaches its climax this weekend.

The Women are currently third in the table after winning all four of their games that they have managed to play in the Championship this season, however they lie behind Essex and Kent in the table who they have not played this year due to the poor weather.

Sussex go into the final game in good form after winning the T20 South Division One on Tuesday, and also winning their last two County Championship matches comfortably, with Sarah Taylor (pictured) scoring her second hundred this season against Middlesex, whilst Arran Brindle scored 68 and took 3 for 21 in the same game.

The Women need to make sure they win on Sunday and take maximum batting and bowling points. They will then have to hope that either Kent or Essex slip up in their games so they can be in with a chance of coming first or second in the table and reaching the County Championship Final.

The match at the PROBIZ starts at 11.00am and entry to the ground is FREE
