Prior focused on biggest test yet
Matt Prior is determined to “leave nothing behind” as he prepares for the biggest challenge of his career.
The 27-year-old Sussex player joins up with the England squad today for two weeks of preparation ahead of the first Ashes Test in Cardiff on July 8.
He believes there have been “real improvements” in his game since he started working with former England stumper Bruce French last August.
The pair linked up for three days at Hove last week during Sussex’s Championship game against Somerset.
Prior said: “Bruce French has been fantastic to be with and I have seen real improvements in my game since I started working with him.
“The biggest series of my career is coming up and I don’t want to leave anything behind in terms of preparation so whenever the two of us have been free we have been getting together and tuning up.
