Sussex extend trial of Chad Keegan
Sussex CCC confirmed today that they have extended the trial of Chad Keegan on a non-contract basis.
Chad was offered a trial in May, but due to poor weather conditions at a lot of the second XI matches since his trial started, he has not had the opportunities to prove himself in match situations.
Mark Robinson, Professional Cricket Manager, said: “Due to recent poor weather around the second team fixtures, we haven’t had enough opportunity to look at Chad properly in match situations. We are keen to see how his rehabilitation from his back injury has progressed. Chad wants to prove that he can still deliver at a high level and it’s only sensible that we give Chad the opportunity to impress.”
