PREVIEW: Sharks back at Hove as Friends Life t20 action continues

Sussex Sharks play their first home Friends Life t20 match for over ten days this evening when they entertain Middlesex Panthers at The County Ground (7.10pm start), in a televised affair under the floodlights.

The Sharks will be aiming for a repeat of the return match a little over two weeks ago at Lord’s, when Sussex were victorious by a comfortable margin of 24 runs.

Rory Hamilton-Brown is currently the Sharks’ leading run-scorer in the competition, following his 43 against Essex Eagles on Sunday, whilst Michael Yardy has snared the most wickets so far.

Luke Wright misses out through injury again whilst Matt Prior is of course with the England squad ahead of their second Ashes Test match this week. Seamer Lewis Hatchett returns to the squad following injury, and Andy Miller is included to boost the bowling options further.

The Sussex squad is as follows:

JE Anyon
WAT Beer
BC Brown (wkt)
JS Gatting
RJ Hamilton-Brown
LJ Hatchett
CJ Jordan
CJ Liddle
MW Machan (pictured)
AS Miller
CD Nash (capt)
DR Smith
SB Styris
MH Yardy
