Background Info:

His early season may have been dogged by both injury and illness but Wright hit back in style for Sussex in 2012 and was one of only two players – Chris Nash being the other – to hit over 300 runs in the Friends Life t20 tournament. His scintillating one-day form wasn’t only restricted to the shortest format as he averaged 59.71 – including three centuries – as the Sharks reached the semi-finals of the Clydesdale Bank 40. He has once again been globetrotting this winter, playing in the Big Bash and the Bangladesh Premier League whilst also cementing his place in the England t20 side, and starring at the World Twenty20 in Sri Lanka.
