20 year-old Rippon is a slow left-arm chinaman bowler from South Africa and qualifies to play for the County through his Dutch passport. His new contract will see him stay at Hove until at least the end of the 2013 season.
He has played in several of Sussex’s Second Eleven matches prior to signing with his first outing being the most successful, claiming incredible figures of 7 for 12 against Kent in a Second Eleven Trophy match at The BrightonandHoveJobs.com County Ground, Hove.
