Annual Disability Day
The annual Disability Day at Sussex County Cricket Club will take place on June 10th between 10am and 2pm. The event is one of the largest mass participation events in the south east for people with all types of disabilities.
Up to 500 disabled people of all ages will take part in a wide range of activities across the County Ground including small sided games, the ECB cricket factory, Krazy Katch Stations, Table Cricket, Skills Zones, Street 20 Zone and VI Skill Zone.
The Disability Day, supported by Santander corporate banking, is in it’s 4th year and forms an integral part of Sussex Cricket’s overall disability strategy and has become an important date in the calendar of many schools and groups working with people with disabilities.
Roger Newman cricket development manager for disability said “We’re pleased to have so many people getting involved again this year, there is so much cricket available for people with disabilities across the County and this is a great opportunity to showcase some of what we offer.”
