Funding & Facilities
The SCB Cricket Development Team can help provide advice and guidance on any facility developments you may have at your club, as well as how to finance the developments. It is important to note that ECB have written Technical Specifications for Outfields and Squares, Non Turf Pitches and Nets, Pavilions & Clubhouses and Indoor Provision (see www.ecb.co.uk/development/facilities-funding/technical-specifications/ for more information) and many funding sources will require you to follow these guidelines. There are various funding bodies out there that are open to cricket clubs. Often the key to obtaining funding is to evidence the way in which your application will benefit young people or community groups.

Your Local Authority may also be able to help with funding, through a Sports Development Officer, For further details select where you are: East Sussex, West Sussex, Brighton and Hove.

In terms of facilities, the Sussex Cricket Board has written a Facilities Strategy (click here to download) that evidences its approach to the development of facilities over the next three years.
ECB has a list of approved Non Turf Pitch systems and suppliers and a voluntary Code of Practice for these suppliers. For more information on this click here.
