Sussex Cricket Board
The SCB is largely funded by the ECB and is accountable to the ECB for the development of the game in Sussex.
The officers of the Sussex Cricket Board are:
- Chairman – John Barclay
- Chief Executive Officer – Dave Brooks
- Treasurer – Kenneth Jeffery
- Welfare Officers – Eddie Hick & Philip Wright
We have a Management Committee and 4 Sub Groups which look at specific areas of activity, as detailed below. The Management Committee comprises the Officers of the Board, the Head of Recreational Cricket, the Chair / a representative of each of the sub groups and 3 appointed members:

- Cricket Development Group, which looks at increasing participation, club development and Area Cricket (Terms of Reference)
- Workforce Group, chaired by Derek Knight, which looks at the development of coaches, officials, groundsman and volunteers (Terms of Reference)
- Adult Leagues Group, chaired by Hugh Thomas, which works with the senior leagues in the county to ensure a coherent pattern of league cricket and consistency across the leagues (Terms of Reference)
- Sussex Women’s Cricket Association, chaired by Don Miles, which is the body responsible for Women and Girls cricket in Sussex (Constitution)
The Board aims to Develop cricket through a clear Player Pathway for Boys and Girls
