Sussex Women's Cricket Association
The Sussex Women's team have had great success over the last 6 years, winning the County Championship 4 times; in 2003, 2004 and 2005, and then coming back stronger last year to win it back from Kent. There are currently 5 Sussex Players in the England Women’s set up, 4 of whom have just helped England win the World Cup. For further information, see their Fixtures and Player Profiles, as well as the News below.
The Sussex Women’s Cricket Association, under the guidance of SCB, aims to promote women and girls cricket throughout Sussex.
The association specifically organises the County Girls squads at U11, U13, U15 and U17 as well as the senior Women’s Team.
The association also works very closely with the SCB in developing school and club cricket for girls.
